About Us

Indian Association of Epidemiologists (IAE) is a professional organization which deals with the study of distribution and determinants of health events, epidemics and diseases. IAE collects the data, analyses and interprets for the useful planning of strategies to prevent and control the health problems in the population.

IAE also creates a platform for all stakeholders dealing with public health to interact, discuss and present innovative ideas and create predictive models of disease, prevention and control.

We are a vibrant professional group to inform and train the students, scholars and faculties of Epidemiology through workshops, seminars and conferences. It organises skill development courses and practical experience in the field to understand the real dynamics of health and diseases.
