About Us

The Indian Association of Epidemiologists (IAE) was founded in January 1993 to support advanced epidemiological research and public health initiatives in India. With a strong network of 360+ lifetime members, we target to expand our branches in every district. The association actively promotes career growth for epidemiologists at the national and state levels and organizes seminars, expert discussions, and technical sessions on significant public health concerns. In collaboration with ISMOD, IAE co-publishes the Journal of Communicable Diseases and is launching its official journal, The Epidemiology International. By fostering research, education, and policy development, IAE remains a core contributor to strengthening epidemiological services and enhancing public health in India.
