Membership Eligibility Criteria
The membership of the association is open to any medically qualified person, who has undergone:
- Any formal course in epidemiology or degree/ diploma in Public Health; OR
- A person who has contributed more than 5 years to the science of epidemiology; OR
- All officers/officials, working in State or Central Government organizations/agencies having five years experience of working with designation as epidemiologist.
NOTE: For life membership, any interested person has to apply in a prescribed format with a membership fee of Rs. 2000 (cheque/ DD/ NEFT/ RTGS in favor of the Indian Association of Epidemiologists). Approval of membership will be accorded by the executive committee of IAE after review of the application.

Our Life Membership offers plenty of benefits to the members. Every member can participate in the general body meeting and even access all the organization’s documents with prior approval from the governing body. The member also gets voting rights in the meetings of the association. Every member is allowed to participate in various meetings, conferences, workshops, seminars, and get-togethers organized by the association. Right to Vote and Participate in Meetings:
Every member is not only eligible to participate in general body meetings but also has the right to vote. This is the best way to raise their concern and voice to the decision-making authority.
Access to Association Activities and Events:
Members will attend various meetings, conferences, functions, and get-togethers organized by the association. This will bring them closer, encouraging networking opportunities.
Timely Information and Record Inspection :
Members will be notified about all the activities of the organization. They can even inspect its records with prior approval of the committee.
