Objectives Of IAE

Indian Association of Epidemiologists (IAE) has been established in1993 under the Association of Registration Act 1860(Regd No. S/25118 of 1993), Government of India with the following objectives:

To work for the promotion and strengthening of Epidemiological Services in India.
To produce and disseminate technical material on disease epidemiology,
To co-ordinate epidemiological research in India, and
To promote the career prospects of Epidemiologists at central and State levels

Our target is to expand IAE membership to all districts of the country so that epidemiological understanding of health and disease can be better understood. The association facilitates technical sessions like seminars, symposiums, quizzes, talks & lectures on Public Health epidemiology. Our Senior IAE members using this platform encourage those engaged in research and teaching epidemiology throughout the country.
